Hate? Why would I want to waste my time and energy hating people?

What has happened in history is just that. HISTORY. If I hold onto it I only hurt myself. I need to watch my rights and make sure that I have freedom of expression. I need to help educate people about the left handed path but getting my knickers in a twist doesn't help anyone.

Besides. I have some great friends who are Christians. I'm not going to throw out a whole class of people over a few bad apples. I just give space to the ones that need space.

religion should be a mind OPENING expierance, not a mind closing one.

I've been raised pagan, and I'm studying christian theology and history in school. There is more to it than you're understanding. Doctor's banned the craft if you want the truth. And the church jumped on the bandwagon after getting to understand how to gain more power from the locals. This is just a small SLIVER of it. Most of the people killed in the "burning times" weren't "witches" as you understand them, they were drains on society, or outcasts. there were also the cases of young men or women accusing eachother out of jealousy. The church would accuse people who's lands they wanted, etc...

So, before you become rightous about how "we" were wronged (I'm sorry, I try not to associate my life opening, understand bringing, world expanding religion with your narrow minded, world close, scorn bringing religion), perhaps you need to sit down with some histories of "the burning times". High Road to the Stake might be a good place to start, although its dry as three week old bread. Also you might want to just look it up on the internet and only go to reputable sites, ones which are within encyclopedias or that end in .edu.

I don't hate christians. The only thing I really dislike is when people debase someone because of their beliefs. And as far as banning anything, I haven't been subjected to anything of that nature. There are good and bad in all religions, but it is up to the good people to set the example over the bad people.

Hate? No. Hate's an energy-sink of an emotion that serves no purpose, and if you're spending time actively hating someone or something, that negativity that you're sending out is going to come back to you and bite you in the butt.

Seriously - worry less about what others are doing and pay more attention to your own studies.

What do you mean by the "craft"? that stupid *** movie with all the teenage witches and wizards and warlocks in it that nobody watched. or are you referring to witchcraft? i don't quite understand it.

P.S. don't think i hate witches and wizards, because i don't. i've read every Harry Potter book. do you witches really communicate with owls, or is that something thats made up?

I'm a Christian. I enjoy learning about the beliefs of other people. My youngest brother is a Wiccan. He says he isn't a witch.
I don't hate him. He hates me on principle.

Why should we hate them and continue this idiocy? Most are actually nice. The only Christians I hate are the ones who hurt and insult and even kill us. Blessed be.
