Try "break free", it's available at most places that sell firearms...Put a couple of drops around the cylinder release and work it around...If it's still sticking, leave a couple of drops on overnight, then try working it around again....

Break free CLP is my all time favorite gun lube, spray it on and work it back and forth at different speeds, wipe off any dirty lube that drips out and apply some more, let it soak for best results. dont dissasemble your revolver unless you know awholelot about it, revolvers are often very troublesome to put back together.

I'm with Mitch, especially since you don't know the name of the cylinder release. This is not something you should attempt

Too much gun oil will attract dirt and casue the level to stick.

try spraying w-d 40 on the moving parts this haould do the trick

Disassemble gun and clean it well with gun oil.
