San Diego made a new law also, it's the day-labor law, any employer that hires a day laborer has to register with the city and tell how much they are paying, job description, who is picking them up and taking them home and they have to give a description of the job to the illegals. If they do not register and they are caught picking up illegals they will pay a big fine. So far only 3 or 4 people have registered, some of the illegals have gone to Arizona or back to Mexico. no more standing on the street corners. They have also started to clean out the canyons and arrest the ones that are living their, on the news they said they are costing San Diego 150 million a year. that includes health care clinics, hospitals and prison maintenance and other sevices.

Hazelton Pennsylvania just passed a law. That fines landlords 1,000 dollars for renting to Illegals. It also will revoke teh Business license of any business found to employ Illegals. Other towns across the nation are looking into similiar laws. Apparently Local officials have decided to do what Federal ones refuse to do.

That's about it too, a fine. I looked and found one site that said $1,000.

There are numerous places that have tried and failed to implement these laws. It seems only Pennsylvania has one at the moment but then I didn't look at all the states so I could very easily be wrong.

They have them in a few cities, on in Hazelton PA, and a couple others followed it, so far. They are talking about one in San Bernardino...

They aren't prevelant yet, however.

If found out, they'll be fined, and rightly so! The States are finally waking up to their responsibility, or rather the Fed's responsibility ....
