I give my City and State and Phone number out all the time, but then I have security, like an unlisted phone number and other people with the same name except for one letter around me. I am also over fifty. I have been online for ten years and had onlyone bad experience. The woman said she would insure my house if I gave her my deed so the insurance company could record it. I told her that either her insurance company was lying to her or she thought I was an idiot because she wasn't getting it. I still get her student loan bills here even tho I have told them she only stayed for two weeks,, swo be careful the world does have a lot of people who will use any information you give them wrongly.

Never open yourself up for someone who is just a pal on the internet. Be very careful in everything you do online. Saftey should always come first. If you are under the age of 18 then please ask your parents for advice.....

Uh, I wouldn't give them specifics. Use good judgment. How long have you known them online?

depends...if you told them your last name and your state they can find you. So if you don't want to be found then tell them very little, or give them a fake state (but a state around yours).
