what is the sport called where you are cycling indoors in a circle/oval on a smooth area. I just saw it on a t.v. show. Is it just called indoor cycling or what???

These are called track events. There are many types too. There's the pursuit, sprint, madison, keirin, etc.

Its a time trials bike sprint. The bikes are 'concept' designed with the lightest weight and most aer0-dynamic material ( carbon-fiber, titanium, etc.).
