Ribena gives me a migrane. I am not sure if they add food colouring or not, but whatever gives it that bright, deep colour affects me. I think you can get sugar-free Ribena, but I think it has food colouring too.

Try ribena sugar free(toothkind) and anyway in a few years they will be knocking back the alcohol and you'll be wishing they were on Ribena so tell her to relax and try the berries too!Lol

Ribena is currently being marketed in Japan as a 'health drink' - mail order only!! It is actually made with the fruit, so it's got to be better than synthetic squashes!

Ribena is good in one way (vitamins etc) but is notoriously bad for teeth.
Dilute it really well, and get them to drink it through a straw.

It hasn't rotted mine yet, and I'm...old. My daughter is 2 and she drinks it all the time - teeth still all present and correct. It's much better for them than a load of artificial flavours. Better still, get some fruit juice. There's also lots of fruit juice cordial on the market now which has no sugar and no additives. Cor, that's a good idea. Maybe I'll buy some.
