possibly, but I kinda doubt it. It seems like they would've noticed something like that over his entire lifespan, assuming he sought out a partner. But I guess we'll never know.

That's kind of like saying Lincoln was gay for sleeping in the same bed with Joshua Speed for 4 years. No matter how politically correct society gets, it's just wrong to call the President gay.

No, he loved them dearly. he left his wife, son, and the comforts of his palace to explore his kindom against his parents wishes because he felt that he had a purpose in life- after seeing three life-changing things (I believe a sick man, a poor man, and an old man) he was horrified to learn that he, too, would age like the old man and eventually die. So, he seeked and tried different techniques to find a way to end suffering. He meditated under a tree until he acheived enlightenment, and began to teach others.

If by gay you mean happy, he was very happy, because he saw the truth of thing the way that they actually are. Being gay is a lable, meant to put someone down. There is no gay or straight, there are just people.

LOOOOOLL!!! I'm sorry if this is a serious question, even though i highly doubt it was. Buddha wans't gay. he left his wife and kids because he felt that nothing was truly lasting and unhappy that his parents and others combined to commit him to the bondage of married life.
