Write him a letter and see if he responds.You'll be surprised what guys reveal on paper. Sometimes guys friends have an effect on who they date. Cause they feel they have someone to inpress. But he will forget about his friends if it's love.

ask him don't be shy if u like him but u gotta be sure that u like him because if he likes u too and after like 5 months u don't have feelings for him u will break someones heart so make sure u really like him

the same thing happened to me once and i just let it go if he doesn't like you then just move on and if he does just go straight out and ask him...and it's ok to ask him out yourself (it shows that you are confident)
