I've been having trouble getting to sleep for the past week. I'm sleepy, yet not really tired. I've only been getting 4 hours of sleep per night.. & i'm not exactly tired at work either. I'm just becoming more stoned everyday, & the dull headache worsens gradually.

Why is it like that, and how can i solve it?

ok, if when you say you are becoming more stoned every day you mean something to do with drugs well then that's your problem. if not you might not be sleeping on the right schedule for your body, believe me not everyone in the world is the 9-5 type.
you could try an over the counter sleeping pill for a few days (don't go more then about 3 days, it can become habit forming.) if that helps reset yourself, great, if not talk to a doctor. insomnia can be a sign of some medical issues.

you might also want to check your surroundings, try new pillows, is it really hot in your room? we have been in a heat wave for the last few weeks in many areas.

oh and make sure your drinking alot of water, may even be simple dehydration (no pop doesn't rehydrate your, drink water, good old H2O)

just be sure if this continues you see a doctor to rule out any major problems.

Stop using caffine. No coffee or tea, no cokes, no chocolate, nothing with caffine. Drink milk. Walk, swim, take an aroebics class. Skip TV too. This is unhealthy, you will be sick if it keeps up. Clean your system and move around more. And, do not forget to breathe, everytime you think about the headache, take three deep breaths. And, while you are at it, consider getting a job that is really challenging or fun.

Pick a time 8 hours before you need to be up, and go to bed at that time. Computer off, lights out, in bed. Stay there until the alarm goes off. Eventually you will sleep those 8 hours. If you have a headache, take Tylenol for it.

I suffer from insomnia. i've gone as much as 5 days without sleep then sometimes I sleep for days on end. It's just a part of life. Don't worry, I typically sleep 4 hours a night and have gone my whole life like that. Possibly you could look for a career in the military?

I am not being sarcastic but I can't remember ever sleeping more then 6 hours a night. Usually foror 5 is my max. I try to sleep longer but I never can. Some people don't need that much sleep. Just keep yourself busy. Try exercising more and you will be much more awake.

Could be the heat interrupting your sleep.. change of diet can also affect your sleep cycle. Sometimes warm uncaffenated tea before bed helps sooth you to sleep... or even a glass of wine. If you have a lot on your mind, worried about something this can also have an adverse affect on how much sleep you get...

maybe you're stressed out. i'd recommend exercise, but your stoner *** is probably too lazy. the headache is from smoking too much, that happens. take some tylenol, drink a tall glass of water, and run a few laps around your neighborhood. then go inside a toke it up!

Try Lipton tea, they have those in different flavours and different purposes. There's one I tried is chamomile flavor, for relax purposes and drink it before sleep, it's effective. They sell it at almost every supermarket, cost about S$2.50 per box consist of 5 teabags if I can remember.

Where do you luve. The heatwave in NY and the East Coast has many of us all screwed up. Try a sinus Advil. They really do work and a cool shower to relax you. It will pass.
