I don't recommend it. Downloading copyrighted music that you haven't paid for is stealing, and illegal. The music industry has just sued LimeWire, and LimeWire will probably defend itself by saying "we're not at fault, it's these users who break the law!" Then the court will order them to hand over a list of everyone who has ever downloaded the software...

I use limewire exclusivley and have for a long time. However the downloads on 56k are a bit flaky but the search results are awesome. Also if you're going to use ANY file sharing program, Morpheus included do yourself a favor and download Peer Guardian at: http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/ This program will save your A**! It'll let you know who's looking at, tracing your I.P, or just sniffing your connection. It works and is VERY NECESSARY!

i've never had a problem using limewire for downloading music. When you install it you dont get any spyware or adware like you do with kazaa and even bearshare. You have to be a little more careful when downloading programs though, but as long as you have a good anti virus you should be ok.

DO NOT USE LIMEWIRE !! This p2p source sucks, completely, and thoroughly. And no don't get kazaa either. Go get Morpheus, I have been running it for 2 years and have never gotten any viruses, or trojans from it, and is has the most expansive library that I have ever seen of every type of file known to man.
