I keep hearing people ***** about USA is trying to keep God out and all that jazz. If religion is so good why do they drool over power and do anything they can to convert USA into a Church State? Wouldn't that suggest they are just as bad and power hungry as a tyrant?

Religious zealots are human so they are also drunkenly affected by the power & financial benefits of lofty positions within their own heirarchy. Personally? I think religion is for the weak-minded. Instead of coping w/ life's problems themselves, some pray for solutions to their troubles. To me this is like asking Daddy to bail you out whenever you screw up as opposed to being an adult & solving life's problems w/ the God-given brain you have in your cranium now. But perhaps I assume too much.... maybe you DON'T have a brain in there? Intelligent design, indeed! *L*

What you speak about are people who CLAIM to be religious - the trick word is CLAIM:
