pepto bismol, 7-up/sprite, saltine crackers or white toast/white rice, alka seltzer. also try tylenol because that may help with pain and any fever you may have.

Some warm ginger ale is good. If you know for sure it's a bug do not take Imodium. Having loose stools will help to pass the bug out of your system. Try to keep well hydrated with some warm bland tea if you are also vomiting.Hope you feel better.

Got baking soda? Lick yer finger and dip it into a box of sodiumbicarbonate (usually Arm&Hammer yellow box in USA)
& take a few extra 'dips' or disolve a teaspoon or so into a third of a glass of warm water & down the hatch! Alkaselzer is based on the same idea & has asprin in it too. Takes too long for it & 'Bromoselzer' to fizz up for me...baking soda is the fastest! I carry around a little vile to combat bad breath too. I'm sure people think I'm doing cocaine!

It depends what kind of upset you have , but if its something you ate such as cold cuts or something else try a heapimg tablespoon of chopped up jalponeao pickled peppers, swallow them just without chewing so they dont burn your mouth/// This works for me but if its a virus i'm not sure they will do the trick and you'll just have to let it run its course/// Good luck

Yes there is a bug going around...seems like there always is. My kids and I all had it...we live in PA. My son can take pepto but my daughter and I hate it. We do sprite or ginger ale and saltine crackers, applesauce, tea, toast.

Take Acidophillus supplements. They will restore the natural bacteria, and keep diarrhea at a minimum.
Also, all plain foods such as toast, rice, apple sauce, water.
Stay away from carbonation, acid, and spice.

My mom would always give us ginger ale. If there wasn't any, she'd pour a glass of coke and let it flatten. If you're thinking of food that could help, try plain chicken and rice. I try not to take medication for anything, so I can't suggest any meds for you.
