Let me tell you what I have faith in. Myself. I have happiness with myself. I am my own god. I love myself, and that's all that matters.

BRAINWASHING! Pure and simple, and recall the childish game of "my daddy's bigger than your daddy" and realize the same game was applied to god ages ago and has been embellished upon since. Leaving countless lives ruined and wasted for the self gratification of parasites too lazy and dis-honest to ever be value producers.
By the way, you are beautiful, i love your question and your honest view. Thank you, how VERY refreshing, it gives me hope
for the human race. if enough people wake up, maybe we can put this nuclear threshold menance behind us and join the CIVILIZATION of the universe.

Why is it so hard for you (or atheists in general) to fathom that other people are perfectly happy without atheism?
Maybe because you're not looking out for our happiness. Maybe it's not about happiness at all. Some feel the personal need to attack everything religious, some feel the need to save everyone.
Haven't you done your part?
All of you who are convinced that religion is the cause of so much war and misery aren't convincing religious-minded people when you're waging a war against them and insulting them at every turn. That's rather self-defeating, isn't it?

Because faith is about believing, and faith can also be decieving, even though having a faith is healthy.
And people just can't imagine that others could go on with their day to day lives without believing a little and finding a little happiness in god or Jesus.
Of course its inncorrect for someone to assume that one isnt happy without their GOD or a Jesus, because for centuries some civilizations lived without any form of worship or any god (or did they?)
I hope I could clear things up alittle.

Because apparently, the minute you join organized religion, you are brainwashed into recruiting... What happened to the days when faith was personal matter and true believers respected the fact that some just didn't share their beliefs... If God exists, I don't think that he/she would actually care about whether someone believes in them and 'judge' them the way it's self appointed drones do.

Largely because I have yet to come across a PERFECTLY HAPPY person! And you are stating that there are many of such people around? How does a perfectly happy person look like? What does he do? What does he think? What does he believe in? Does trouble troubles him at all? He's never not perfectly happy?

Happy is in the eye of the beholder....Great Happiness is with God in Jesus name and those people level of happiness is just that...a level.....totally and awesome happiness comes from God and his Goodness, and the intimate things he does for you, and the personal things he reveals to you, the weight he takes off of you,the way of escape from your worst situation! A simple private prayer (relationship) and its done....I sits back and smile....That's happiness...caring for me and loving me when I am so not worthy to even call upon his Great name. I want you to experience it too....That is why we share the Good news....we see in the Spirit that you have a form of Happiness! Love you in Jesus Name!

They cannot believe it because, except for mental patients or drug junkies (immediately after a hit) - NO ONE can be "perfectly happy".
Since it is not possible for mentally sound people to be "perfectly happy" these believers need to create "God" or "Jesus" or "Zeus" or whatever to explain by humans are so unhappy.

I guess they (some people, not all) lack empathy. You must be similar to them so they can humanize you. Without having something in common they cannot consider you equal, only someone to be pitied or feared. On the other hand, maybe they do it out of concern. Maybe they truly believe a non believers soul is in danger. I suppose it's all relative, we are all unique after all.

cuase we know that there happiness will only last a sort season campared to the everlasting happiness we have in chirst are savior
side notes:
A. not everyone in orgainzed religon are on fire with the gospel for christ, some don't even care for christ they just give lip service
B. we don't hate all other religons some have valid points we love others and don't want them to be rejected from heaven becuase they are without christ. we don't go around beating people cuase they worship diffently.

Because these people need something to lead them, and a crutch to lean on. These people also need a reason to judge others that they do not approve of.
Where as others can go through life, and be good and just, without having to justify their existence or their behavior to anyone but themselves.
