Well, your religion seems to have delivered for you. ; )
Mine: what sorts of things would you see as a promised kept?
I'm promised a peace that passes understanding. That's one.
I'm promised strife and to be misunderstood. Check.
I'm promised an eternal home with no more tears. Still waiting, because I'm still breathing. That comes under faith.
I suspect you aren't really interested, because your mind is already made up. That would be faith for you.
You are quite welcome.

It is not any "Religion's" responsiblity to deliver anything. And if you are a part of any religion that says it will, then you should run. It is between you and God. That's it..that's the BIG secret. When you have a relationship with God you will know what it takes to be happy for now and eternity. No one can tell you what that should be. I am very spiritual and most say that I am a good Christian. But I don't belive in "organized religion". I do believe in commeraderie in your faith. Kind of like its better to have a house full of football fans at your Superbowl Party than to sit alone and watch the game. The energy is much more satisfying. But in the end it is only between you and God..there is no one else that should come between you. Scientists have not delivered anything that wasn't already there created by God.

You're right, religion has not delivered anything that it promised. But Jesus Christ has. He has delivered the believers from the wrath of God that we so rightly deserve because of our sin. This present world is destined to be destroyed by fire on the Last Day, and then what good is your science going to do you?

I believe that my faith not religion has delivered exactly what it promised for me. Yes science is expanding and giving insight into many things, but in this case are you making science your religion. This is not a criticism, just a comment.

I would be curious to know what exactly religion has promised? Who promised it? I don't view religion as a department store that needs to deliver or provide certain products and services. My faith doesn't guarantee an easy or perfect life. For me, my faith is part of what encourages me to move beyond myself, to pursue justice and peace, compassion. For others, I realize they have their own motives.
I don't discount the value and contribution of science, I don't feel the need to.

Not religion, but Jehovah’s word the bible, has kept all of its promises and prediction, except the final one that will shortly be delivered.

i'm not sure what you mean by using conserving a flock mutually, yet there are multiple human beings in this international who lead such depressing lives that that promise is what retains them going some days. of direction in Christianity (which i assume you mean, because you utilize the word flock), there is the each and every day presence of the Lord, no longer purely a promise of a few thing once you die. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, loss of life stares multiple human beings in the face, and concept in a greater effectual existence later on provides them braveness.

Religion cannot promise anything...but God can! And yes, He has kept His promises!
Remember the rainbow is a reminder of His promise not to flood the earth again....Yeah, so the gays can stop using God's rainbow for their symbol....it was God's first....

My wife, family , house, business, my cars, my airplanes,.....
See the picture yet?
We have been blessed many times over and will help others who truthfully ask for assistance.
We get back more than we can give.
Nice little deal huh?

see the source box. read up...specifically the second portion "fulfilled prophesies."
Also, just wondering: do you put your faith in technology? I don't know about your experience, but it sure has let me down a lot...unlike God. But, to each his own.
