I was in a bookstore today, looking for a gift for one of my friends. One of my friends looks around and points to a copy of Ann Coulter's "Godless", and says "Hey, you could get her Ann Coulter.." and I said very loudly "Ha, no wonder that garbage is 30%!" Yes, her book was marked down. They were covered in dust and spider webs, and it seemed as though there were many copies of her book. I continued to say in a noticably loud tone "They mark down her books, and they still don't sell. She is such an idiot."
Everyone in the bookstore stared at me. Some people were actually glaring. I was just trying to be pro-American.
The guy who worked in the bookstore looked mad at me.
Was I really that wrong?

Oh conservatives, they get so upset when they realize that they're just bags of hot air.

I agree with everything you said except for the saying things very loudly part. Anyone, no matter what they are saying, are annoying and obnoxious when being very loud in inappropriate place.

It goes back to the age old saying "opinions are like a$$holes - everybody has one." Perhaps everyone in the store did not care to hear your opinion as you have stated you made your comments very loudly. Your lack of tact and decorum is why everyone stared at you. You are an ill-mannered buffoon, although your opinions may be spot on. Next time just keep them to yourself, or just tell your friends. The entire store doesn't need to hear your opinions.

Well, you were being kind of rude stating your opinion in a loud voice. It's kind of dumb also because your opinion doesn't mean a hill of beans to strangers. Think about it the next time you feel like acting a fool.
and no I don't care for Ann Coulter.

I APPLAUD AND COMMEND YOUR YOUR INSIGHT INTO WHAT IS LITERARY GARBAGE!!!!!!!! The guy at the book store probably was mad cause he ordered all these books and can't sell them. I LIKE YOUR STYLE!!! you call it as you see it. The emperor had new clothes made and was taken in the best scam in proverbial history. Everyone was afraid to say they could not see his really fine threads and they oohed and aahed as he passed until a little boy said innocently that he "ain't got on any clothes" and then the crowd roared with nervous laughter as it was the truth,THE REAL TRUTH.

Do you live in a really conservative area? My family and I live on the West coast and we cannot stand Ann Coulter!
You had a right to express your opinion, albeit rather loudly. Don't worry about it. You can't please all of the people all of the time.

Well, it's 30% off to club members if you read comprehensively. And, how do I know? well, I saw the % sign too, and when I read closely it said "to club members only". And, if it's "garbage" then why is she under The New York Times bestsellers list?, and you aren't ? hum........I wonder? Oh, and why wouldn't they stare at someone who is being loud and obnoxious? they have to know where that raucous is coming from, you know?

You were being LOUD and OBTRUSIVE in a Book Store!! It's almost the same as being in a library except that people are actually BUYING the books. That's why they were looking at you -- being loud and obnoxious.

You were being "Loud & Obnoxious". A book store is a quiet place and the other shoppers do not need to have your opinions forced upon them.

Ok if anything, this girl is more american than any of you. I'm not american, just to point that out, but last time i checked, she had the freedom of speech, just like the rest of you, yet you ***** and complain about her expressing her beliefs. You people are hypocrites, and are more un-american than she is
