Most people are afraid of death and don't know what will happen after they die. If you were given the chance would you want to live forever. I asked this question because my brother's wife, my sister-in-law recently died and he became a single parent to their two children.
I wouldn't because everyone would die and I would eventually become bored. And just think how you would look.

Also does anyone have any single father tips. My brother's wife recently died in a car crash and he became a single father to their 2 children. A 11 year old boy and a 3 month old girl. Many people say that he should date again so he could go back to working his regular hours at his job and the kids stepmother could baby-sit them.Because we both live in the Metro Atlanta area I help out as much as I can. Ecspecially on the days he has to work for a long time. So if you have any tips please tell me. Thanks.

We all have the hope of living forever here on earth in total peace and security--No more terrorism, wars, pain, sickness or death. This is what God's Kingdom will do for us. The blind will see, the lame will walk and no one will ever get old. The earth will be transformed into a paradise. Those who have fallen asleep in death will be resurrected back to life to be reunited with their loved ones. Humans and animals will be at peace with one another. All animals will be tame and will do no harm.
Psalms 37:9-11 is a wonderful promise from God: "For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."
And at Micah 4:4 we are promised: " But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it."
Psalms 46:9: "He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth-"
Isaiah 11:6,9: "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."

Your question is a good one.Good thinking.

Even if one wishes ,our body wont support it.

If you are really not who you think -you are. Then there is a possiblity of life forever.Confused?

We identify us by our body our hands our brain ...etc.

But then can Death destroy you ? the real you.

If true a child lives only 1 hour in this Earth and gets destroyed agains a 1000000000....year old universe. Is human life such insignificant?.

If false, then we the souls take different bodies in many forms.
A soul that can carry a body of weight 80 kg for 10000kg of a whale for 100 years .When it leaves, the body has to be carreid by 2 grownups or a tanker for the latter.
The soul when it leaves, it enters another lifeform and thereby continues to live forever.

You friend tell me, Does any human want to live forever?or only another hour? .Death rates are 12 per second.

if it was like highlander living forever I suppose I could handle that. every few days you have to slice someone's head off. that wouldn't get boring. plus you'd always look the same so that'd be a plus. unless youre ugly of course... but really the only reason i would want to live forever isnt because im afraid to die but because i want to see what happens next. I'm always one of those types that wants to fast forward to the end of the movie and then try and figure out what happens after the end. but when it's my time I'll go quiet. everything in its time. peace

First, I am so sorry about your families tragedy.

would I want to live forever? on earth? no.. in heaven, most definitely, yes!

tips for your brother? I don't think anyone should marry out of convenience, but rather for love. I know it's hard for him with the kids and his job. but he could hire a babysitter. marriage is a commitment of love, not a job application.

St. John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.

St. John 3:16For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever bellieveth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 for God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world. but that the world through Him might be saved
18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in in the Name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jesus, made the way back to the Father, by dying on the cross at Calvary, for our sins, all mankind. Go to Jesus, to make your peace with Him, by repenting of all your sins, and ask forgiveness, and to be washed by His Precious Blood, He shed for you, and give Him, your heart, and your life to live for Him, and you like the the other who hung the his cross opposite of Jesus asked Jesus. How do i enter into the Kingdom of God, and Jesus, ask forgiveness of all your sins, and I will forgive you, and you will sup with Me forever this day in Paridise.

Do not wait to make peace with God, many do not know, tommorrow may be to late. God loves all mankind, and wants to have all His creation with Him forever, and He sent his Son to make the way.......DO NOT WAIT.........

fact : human can't live forever, ask michael jackson, who sleep in an oxygen chamber.... says the paparazi.. :D

but, it's true in the movie TROY, name will remains forever!
do what you have to do best right now in front of you...
and people will remember your name forever in their mind & heart !
that's more important
ask donald trump : do the best in business, becoming a great bussinessman, around the world know his name...
Thomas A.Eddison, he says that 99% hard work & 1 % inspiration... and now... his work still remains..

I would like to see how the human race ends up. But I would want to die when they eventually evolve in to something else. Or evolve with them.

I would not want to live this life forever. I do, however, believe I will live forever and that we are created as eternal beings.
