I would call the vet - they can advise you on what to feed the kitten - although pet shops sell baby formula for kittens and tiny bottles to feed them with. Good luck!

Go to the petstore, buy a small nursing bottle and some kitten formula, it will be hard at first (depending on how old it is and how much contact it had with it's mother) it should get the suckle technique and be able to feed like that until they are about 4-6 weeks, then you can start with soft/moist food. This is all worth it of course if you are planning on keeping the kitten, or if you are a good citizen, otherwise call the local animal vet/shelter.

ok i have had this problem just resently with a neibors cat not taken care of it kitten if you have some pet formula even if you don't if you have baby just tell you can get it to a vet find an dropper i got lucky i had a dropper that was platic was surprised at how well the kittens took to eating from the dropper i fed them about 4 TB spoon or drop fulls every 3-4 hours you may be able to spread it out more through the night and first thing in the morning call your vet or a local vet and ask them if you can bring a kitten in that you found if you have a kill pound they have no choice but to kill it so vet is your best place if you can find a 24 hour vet that is close to your home then take it their if not try formula kitten babb IF YOU HALF TO give it regulor milk then i that will get it at least throught the night make sure it is at room temperature.
Good luck

If the kitten can basically fit in your hand , you should get kitten baby formula. Cows milk has protiens in it that can harm the kittens delicate digestive tract. Making it have the RUNS!!! I assume that you dont want that. I had a kitten that was paralyzed from the middle of its back down since it was a tiny 3 day old kitten ... wonderful little kidudu was her name.... Cause she had no control over her lower half ... she would du du when ever *it* felt like coming out. Anyway, cows milk ... BAD. Use regular tap water until you can get some ... keep the kitty hydrated. Then, like a normal human baby, feed every 2 hours. If she / he sleeps through the night GREAT! Dont wake it to feed it! But during the day it will tell you when it wants to eat. If kitty doesnt have teeth yet take a ziploc bag , poke a TINY hole in it with a sewing needle and let kitty suck it like its mommy kitty ... no probs with it eating then....

It depends on how old it is . Are the eyes open? I would go to the store and get kitten food and kitten milk-the Wal mart here carries it . If you think it could be old enough to eat, soak some kitten food in cat milk and show it the food or put some on your finger. If it looks to young to eat kibble, you'll need to get a bottle and call a vet. It will need to feed every so many hours. Good luck.
To be safe, I would stimulate it's rear end.

This does work better than kitten formula. A vet told me what to do. Works on puppies, too. You will need a kitten bottle. Add one teaspoon of egg yellow to about two ounces of half and half milk. Warm it up some and nurse your kitten. Yes, you will have to stimulate the little thing. I use an old washcloth. Gently rub the washcloth along the kittens back from head to bottom. You will have to do this to his 'butt' too. Good luck.

First of all they have kitten milk at the vet and you need to use that because it has antibodies etc. that cats need also I dont know if your asking how or just stating a fact but to stimulate the kitty you have to get a warm washcloth pref because it will feel more like the mothers tounge and gently rub its pooper hole this should get it to go .....good luck ! If you have the means please take the kitten to the vet . It may have other problems your not aware of.

Evaporated milk but the cat milk you buy at a pet store is better. You can try a doll bottle to feed it. And you need to rub it's belly and butt to stimulate it to crap.

Congrats on your new friend, it is okay to give the kitten milk, but not too much. You should try going to get some cat food preferably soft, not crunchy, and provide fresh water.
