I have two cats and two dogs - the most intelligent of the lot is the moggy cat. He is in charge of the entire household and controls all the other animals- he has taken charge of the animal flap into the garden and has a particularly sadistic side when it rains as he sits facing the cat flap and will not let any of the other animals in. He also has a sense of humour and hides on the top of the sofa and waits for a dog to lie down on the floor - he then bats the bewildered dog on the heads and darts over the sofa so he can't be seen - then comes back for more - both dogs are increasingly baffled!

I have two cats a boy and a girl. The girl knows how to flush the toilet (havent seen her use it yet), and she likes to open the kitchen cabinet doors, and take a nap with the pots and pans. The boy knows how to turn the bathroom faucet on and then drink the water and he can jump up, hang and kinda twist a door handle to open it. I have to always keep the exterior door bolted so he does not go outside.

My cat also plays "fetch" (although I think he is more fond of bringing the toy for me to play with him more); he will also catch a toy thrown at him in the air (other cat owners have been surprised at his precision); and, if I roll a small ball at him on the smooth floor, he can hit it with a paw and roll it pretty precisely back at me.

He is also very aware of things I want and don't want him to do - and sometimes he has tried to do things I don't like just to get my attention (like tonight, when an air draft closed the door he uses to access his litter; it's too heavy for him to open, so he honestly tried to wake me up, but I was too tired to pay attention; by morning, he was upset with me and I was wondering what was wrong...)

opening the kitty treat container and bull-dogging the cat. he holds the container with his paws and uses his teeth and lips to pop of the lid. and when the dog is running by the two cats individually not in tandem wrap their paws around the dog and body slam him. great fun knowing that one of the cats is still a kitten and is about 15 pounds lighter than the dog. lol lol

My cat is just kind of lazy, but my dog had his own dog squeaky toy, and my cat took it away from the dog, and he picked it up in his mouth and ran up his scratching post with it. Now, this dog is tiny, a chihuaha. And my cat is a huge ragdoll. So, this pup has some TINY toys. Then, my cat started squeaking the puppy's toy! It was hilarious! Now, that squeaky toy is the cat's.

My kitty has no issue opening light weight doors. He just jumps, latches on, and twists. Luckily the front door is much too heavy for him to get open, but he does try.
