Benadryll works, but makes you sleepy. Put some Cortizone on them to help combat the itching. Cold showers can also help ease the itching. You could go to the doctor during an outbreak and he could do an allergy test to tell you what it is that caused them. I have so many skin allergies myself that I have learned I am only able to use one type of laundry detergent, one brand of soap, and I must avoid all lotions that smell nice. I've basically given up on trying new products. So, avoid whatever it was that caused the hives. Also, hives can break out when a person suffers from anxiety too.

benadryl helps because hives are caused by an allergic reaction and Benadryl is an anti-histamine. But, as another person said, finding out the cause is important to ridding yourself of the hives and to preventing a recurrence. Aveeno oatmeral bath will provide relief also,

Take an oatmeal bath and take benedryl. In combination, these things will work excellently. You can also try calamine lotioin to the hives.
Make sure you find out what caused them in the first place. If you get another allergic reaction, it can cause worse symptoms than hives.

Anything from stress to an allergic reaction can cause hives. I'd take a Benadryl and see if they come back. If they keep coming back, I'd call a dr. and see what's causing it.

They go away by themselves. Be sure you get itching medicine or you will end up with scars as a result of scratching. Also, use Aveeno or other soothing bath product to calm the itch.

If the bees can't find flowers to pollenate, they will stop producing honey and eventually, their hives will go away.
