I don't really like it when someone does it, but it does make me feel good about myself. I'm actually thinking about it now. Then nice but or nice boobs thing would proboably make me madd, but make me feel like I look good right then. The whistle or the you're hot thing- I would proboably just smile, blush, and look at the ground, I'm pretty self concious usually.
To answer your question about the inappropriate thing, yea, it is. Some girls might like it though, not caring if it's appropriate or not. I, personally don't like the first two but the second two just embarass me- both make me feel good though.

It's aggravating and disrespectful to yell...Just honk the damn horn and wave, lol! I have known guys that have crashed into trees, poles and other cars just from doing just this. If she looks that good, turn around and pull over where ever she's standing or walking, don't yell, it's so immature and ghetto. You still might not get a phone number but at least you showed a little more respect by not letting the whole world know you were trying to holla at her.

u know it depends on the girl.. but when every i get someone trying to holla at me like that i just either ignore it or i get caught off guard an give them a dirty look.. ha ha.. i would like it better if a guy approached me and said hi or you look nice.. rather than someone yelling out their window making a scene.. oh my gosh if some guy yelled out at me nice butt or nice boobs.. id get offended i guess i dont like that kind of attention.. But i feel that women do like other types of attention..

I hate that!! I think its rude - and most times the car is driving by and a guy will yell something and all you can here is gibberish because there is either alot of traffic or the car is going too fast. But if you insist on yelling something try not to directly point out a body part I find that offensive rather try and yell hottie or cutie that sort of thing.........................

to a certain extent, it feels good (like a compliment depending on what you say).
for the most part though, it is inappropriate. as for my gf's and i, we end up laughing at guys who do this. it just shows us how immature guys can be and that they don't have to courage to approach us in a "gentleman" manner.
MOST girls value respect... so, this is probably not the best way to show it.
here's another way to look at it. all of my male friends ONLY do this when they see a girl looking like a hoochie walking down the street. it only proves my point about the respect thing, because for one, these are the guys who aren't in relationships and two, THAT girl is loving the remarks and responding to it by portraying herself in "hoochie" manner (revealing, touching herself, etc).

Oh yeah, man. Girls just love it when idiots yell at them. Next time, instead of "nice boobs" or "nice butt" try, "I"m a butt headed boob yelling at a nice looking girl, but I can't get a date because I'm such an asshole".

It actually can get really annoying. I don't find it appropriate at all. If you want a girl who is walking down the street, why not stop and ask her if she'd like a ride instead of screaming out the window at her.

Hell no, I don't like it! Yes it is totally rude and inappropriate. I know I'm hot no need to hear it that way from a totally disrespectful stranger.

No girls do like it and maybe if you stopped yelling out the car window and approach a girl respectfully than you may finally get a girlfriend.

have you ever started a conversation that way that actually led to anything? I have never heard of that working and I would think that it would probably be more scary/offensive then flattering for 98% of women. But who knows... give it a shot you might win the lottery
