What do you think of 21 year old guys that have no desire to date or get married? Why do you feel the need to pressure them to date and eventually get married?

At 21, I would think they are interested in their future and school. I would never, and have never, pressured anyone of either sex to date or get married. I don't even bring the subject up. Marriage is not for everyone and it's good people recognize that.

Well, here is the answer to your question. I am 29 now and I was married at 19 years old. I married a man who was older. I now realize that being married that young is not a good thing unless you know what you want in your life. I was divorced five years later. Family and friends pressured me to get married. Have kids, a car, a job and live happily ever after! Don't they realize that there is more to life than the day to day norm? I had to get out and travel to 46 states, live out of hotel rooms and meet strange and interesting people from all over this country to realize that people need to search for themselves first before getting married. People, especially woman need to learn to not be so clingy, have fun, date several people until they are 30 years old. It isn't the fifties anymore! Dont you agree?????

well really it really doesn't matter what age the guy is there is not like a certain age that a guy really has to be ready to settle down... well at least i don't think so... some men and even women have other plans before they want to settle down... i don't feel the need to pressure anyone to do anything and i don't think anyone should either...

don't see anything wrong with that. 21 is too young to marry anyway. you should not marry someone until you are sure that's what you want
