I need to clean used flute, what should I use

be very careful what u use!!!! i'm serious my friend used windex on her flute it wasnt a pretty sight after that. i bought a new one. best to go to a nearby music store like ken stanton music. & whatever u do if ur in marching band dont put it on the ground when they put out fresh fertilizer on the ground itll turn the silver pink & green it happened to a trumpet & a few baritones in my band a few years ago.

There is disinfectant spray the you can but at a music store disenfect the outside of the mouthpiece other that that just use your cleaning rod to clean out the inside of the flute. DO NOT put it in water or use chemicals on it. If you have any questions take it to a music store and ask anyone they will help.

do you know how many people tested that flute when it was manufactured?the whole assembly line.bleach.
