Some Jews used to live there since ages, but most of them ran off to Palestine to seek asylum from Hitler and then claimed it has always been their land. Maybe they should ask America for a piece of land to call home.

Because it's a lot cheaper to visit here than some places in Europe. The rate of exchange in England is about $2.00 to the British pound. If you pay $3.00 for a meal here it is 3 pound there. It cost us 65 pound to fill up the tank on a mini van once 3 weeks ago in England. Thats about $131.00 here. And we think gas here is expensive.

People visit Israel to see the archeological sites, religious sites, museums, people, and history everywhere around them. It's a beautiful country. And, yes it *is* their country. Nobody except the Jews has ever had a country in the Land of Israel, so what makes it "not theirs"?

It's not whose country? Israel belongs to the Jews. But I would visit Israel if there wasn't any war going on.
