Spelled Samuel, I think it would be pronounced about like "sam-WELL". The "u" is barely pronounced. "L" is one of the few French consonants that are pronounced at the end of words.

Hi there,
The name "Samuel" in French is the same "Samuel".
For example, the Bible book "1 Samuel" is "1 Samuel" in French too!
