if you want longer hairs do not cut more only u need to trim at the ends only to remove split ends , use regular coconut oil message as mostly indian women dose, wash next day morning with mild shampoo and conditioner, this will help u a lot.

avoid junk food, take plenty of glass water daily , take one tab of multi vitamin daily.

The more often you trim the faster it tends to grow and it'll be healthier too. I figure why have long hair if it's not healthy and pretty. You should trim your hair every 6 to 8 weeks and it doesn't have to be a lot either.

Notice how men who are clean cut have to cut their hair at least every month? Their hair grows faster.

no, but the shorter your hair is the healthier and smarter you will be because otherwise all of the nutrients your body takes in will go to your hair and you wont have much left for yourself!

growth of hair depends on the root not the tips.
trim will chop your split ends making hair look good.

it doesn't mean it's going to get longer but it will make your hair heathier.
