I don't know about "hero", but certianly more admired because it's alot harder to hit Marylin Manson with a plane than it is to hit two huge buildings.

Osama Bin Laden would be considered a terrorist no matter who he killed. He is a person who justifies killing people in the name of God. His concept of Jihad is terrorist in nature, so regardless of his target, I will always consider him a terrorist.
