Well according to many answers I see... I guess "saved" means special and you can do as you wish. No wonder there is so much bad in the world! They just get "saved" and then act however they want! And to think some talk down to those of the non religious who are better people.

Of course. Its like you tell your mom a lie...will she forgive you and still trust you...YES!!!! if that Christian is saved and does an act of adultery they will still go to heaven. Every sin is forgiven unless you turn against God and not accept him before you die. Remember though...always ask God for forgiveness

Very good question...
The grace of salvation is not my 'passport' to sin enjoy the pleasures of the world.
Yes, I am saved by Christ and rejoiced in His graceful blessings...but that does not mean that I can sin and feel good about it because I am 'saved'.
Salvation is a journey of purity and struggle for my perfection, with God's grace.
To be saved is one thing, and to struggle away from the sin is another....and when I sin, eventhough I am save, I still have to offer a true repentance and confess my sins before the Lord, and gain absolution from a priest, which in Turn, The Holy Spirit working within him will forgive my sin, and I am back to apure state again (as the lord Christ said to His disciples "Receive the Holy Spirit, those sins you loosen on earth will be loosen in heaven, and those that you bind on earth will be bound in heaven.", which is the authority that is only given to preists from God Himself, and it is not an authority of personal pride and vain power, but rather an authority of divine love and grace through Christ who gave such authority to the priesthood for our salvation)...but the condition is that I am 'genuinely repentant'.
A lot of people mistake the concept of salvation and life saving grace of Christ as a means to enjoy the sins of the world and still get into heaven. Salvation is not attained in a moment, but on a lifetime of struggle and spiritual growth, whilst remaining rejoinced in the Sving act of redemption that Christ our God has offered us.

Dude... if that is the case then that would be so freakin cool. Cause that means I could just get saved right now and could do the sex, drugs, rock and roll lifestyle I have always wanted to follow. And here I am trying to be "saved" everyday... I have a lot of catching up to do.

Yes, but he's gonna have some 'splainin' to do...!
Think of it this way: If a pig falls into a mud wallow, he'll revel in it. You can't get him out.
But if a sheep falls into the same mudhole, you can't get him out fast enough! His nature is different than the pig's. Sure, he might get muddy, but he doesn't LIKE doing it. That's what 'killing the old man' is all about.

Yes If one is born again he will go to heaven . There is no sin that prevents a saved person from going to heaven

If stay awake christmas eve will you see Santa. NO! Its a fairy tale. Get over it. Christians need to research thier own religon. If they did they wouldn't wear so much Pagan jewelery. Thats where many of Christian symbols came from.

Once you are saved your slate is wiped clean and stays that way no matter what.
And to the above poster,how is a priest going to "wipe my slate clean"?I do thousands of sins a day without even thinking!How is that man going to help me?And why does he have THAT much power?

The Bible says that those who are awarded heavenly life must remain faithful until death. Committing the sin of adultry is not being faithful. In fact, aduterers will not inherit God's Kingdom.
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
