because, even though their churches tell them that supporting Israel is the correct thing to do, they secretly still hate Jews and get very upset when reminded of this?

No. We support Israel, most of the time, because it is being attacked by savage Muslim terrorists who want to wipe it of the face of the Earth. Islam is the religion of hate, not only for Jews, but for all people who do not submit to its false ideology.

How could you be christian and hate Jews??? Jesus is a Jew, it's kinda ridiculous to follow a Jew and hate them at the same time. Actually, I find many christians sort of jealous of Jews because they are the chosen people, but that doesn't mean they hate them, just that they wish they were the chosen people. I mean really, I think it would be great if I were of the Jewish race. Then there are many christians who pretend being christian makes us the chosen people, but if those people read Revelation, they'd realize that the 12 tribes are mentioned specifically, and we're not it. We of course are still included, but that doesn't make us the chosen people. God made a promise to them, and He keeps His promises, regardless of how many christians try to make themselves the chosen. It's a blood thing and no amount of us wanting to be the chosen is gonna make it so. The new Jeruselem has a space for the chosen, and another specifically for us, so the separation exists.

As to the question, the bible tells us that any nation that goes against Israel will be destroyed, so yeah, we'd be idiots to go against Israel.

If Christians hate Jews, or non-Christians or Atheists for that matter, they are NOT acting according to their Master's teaching, who said "LOVE your enemy". What is wrong here is that we judge "the others" without judging ourselves.
Don't all Christians pray: "Forgive us our sins AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US?"

Compassion and forgiveness is taught by a number of other faiths as well. But it seems to us as “illogical”. So we rationalize and “justify” our actions by only looking at some passages of those teachings that we think are "reasonable”, and forget about the rest. We see and try to point out “the others’” mistakes, so we don’t have to look at our own. - No, I’m not perfect either.

Love (and I don't mean sex!) is what is lacking in this world. It is the one thing that can defeat hate, not swords or guns or bombs.

We are supposed to hate evil, especially doing it.

As somebody put it: Love is the answer - whatever the question

I'm a Christian. I've got a lot of Jews friends. As a matter of fact, my best friend is Jew. I don't hate them of course. But I don't like what Israel is doing now.
If you're a Jew, you should be asking Israel goverment to stop the war, they're killing innocent people. How could they do that if they're supposed to be the Elected People of God ???

I personally don't understand why Christians would support Israel. I thought Christians were supposedly peaceful people who only fight just wars. How is the war between Israel and Lebanon just? How is it considered just that Israel kill so many innocent civilians-the elderly, the sick, the women, and their children. Amongst those being killed in Lebanon are Christians. It is well known that Lebanon has the highest percentage of Christians in the Arab world, so what good would it be to support killing them also? It just does not make any sense to me whatsoever.

It is possible as anything is possible but not probable. People are angered by violent attacks against innocent people. Hezbollah began the violence. Israel retaliated. While this is happening, the UN is silent. The UN is the only group that can settle this.

Some maybe. Don't care about them.
A fool is a Fool is a FOOL!

When God says something I take it to heart.
Some I guess just want to be cursed by God.

Bless Israel, may the enemies of Israel, be struck dumb and blind, may there tongs choke them, may all they have turn to dust. Amen

Why would we hate the jews? There was that one incident with Jesus and the cross, but he forgave them, so why wouldn't we? Besides, Had he not be crucified, there would be no Christians or Christianity.

Why would we hate Jews? Jesus Himself on the cross, said "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." If Jesus wasn't holding anything against them, why would we?
I don't "secretely" hate anyone, the Father causes me to love, not hate.
