Kittens tend to sleep during the day when "owners" are off doing their thing..so naturally kittens are playful during the evening/night...which is usually when the owners are "coming down/relaxing" and probably a bit tired from their day...
But I miss my cat being a kitten..it was awesome when she was so playful...now she's just as lazy as I can be.

When the kitten turns into a cat, it sleeps 23 hours a day from all the activity it did when it was younger.

Kittens are so cute when they are role playing. All the cute things kittens do are for getting ready for life without mamma. I love them at this stage. Don't you?

by the way it is good training for when you have kids same thing
little bodys somehow store more energy
