no. In the us no one has to provide a translator

It is not a law that the post office provide you with a translator. My suggestion to you is to find a friend that will go with you to help you with the forms you need to fill out.

Most of the people that work for the Post Office don't speak English, so you should have no problem. Try a different branch.

Only time we need to provide you a translator is when you have been arrested and we want to be sure your rights have not be violated. You will have your translator all through the process and even at your trial. We do however not provide them in prison. sorry.....
