I am 26 and interested in a man who is 33. Do people look differently at you when you are dating someone who is older than you?

He's not an older man. He's just older than you are. A seven year age difference is hardly worth mentioning.

Hey I'm 25 and to tell you the truth.....I like older men too. I have not met a guy my age that's really done any thing for me. Do people look at you differently? Maybe sometimes if he looks old enough to be your dad. But hey I like to check out older guys and I have hooked up with some before and he was over 33. Don't trip if it's what you want go for it. It really won't matter what anybody else thinks, you know?

You are not so young that a 33 year old man is consider an older man. However the outer appearance of a person varies. Therefore if you bear to look at a naked older man, then go for it.

I think it depends on the people in question.
If someone looks much older than you than
naturally you'll likely get a look or a glance.
I was 20,he was 31 someone asked me if
he was my father.LOL.
Although,he did'nt look much,much older.
I just looked young being only 20 yrs old.
Who cares what other people think!
Let them look,tell them to take a picture
it will last longer.

my husband and i are 16 years apart. we met when i was 17 and he was 33. so thats even more of a difference. people looked at us a little weird but we have been together so long now that people dont even notice anymore. you should be with someone you want to be with, not someone other people approve of. good luck!!

I wouldn't care how people look . I'm 24 and my fiancee is 30 older men are more mature and definitely knows how to treat a lady

I personally think older men are hot anyway. They tend to be more intelligent, sensitive and better lovers since they are usually more experienced. So what if people look at you differently? People always try to find something wrong with everyone so don't sweat it. If he knocks your socks off go for it...

nothing is wrong with that! he's just a few years older than you. At least there is the possiblity of him being more mature and knows what he wants now. I thought you were talking about someone who is 20 years your senior.

thats not really much older at all, I am 29 and my BF is 49...now thats a difference, and no one looks or really cares! Once you get to a certain age, like 20's, age aint nothin but a number!

I don't consider that a large enough gap that would warrant a second glance at the two of you together. I'd say when you go up "about at least" 15 years, then you may get some stares and odd stares.
