If I'm right in reading your question, you're asking how to remove entries in the Add/Remove section whose programs are already gone but the entry remains, right?
If so, go to the below link and download Microsoft's "TweakUI". It's about halfway down on the page. Within that program is a tweak that lets you remove those entries, as well as other handy utilities. Good luck.

Go to settings - control panel - add or remove programs with this u can remove unnecessary softwares by clicking the icon, or u can repair the mislinked files or u can again install software. If u further want to remove share files also, use registry cleaner (but it will be dangerous to delete the shared ones without knowledge, it will delete .dll files).

there is a software RegCleaner that is able to do it =) do a search on yahoo or google.
