A ryan air type airline with no snacks or drinks but available for purchase, no headsets, no tv screens in the entire plane, fabric seats, with slightly less than average leg room with no recline and no window shades and no head rests and slightly cramped seat for only $85

On a short domestic flight, I would go with the cheaper fare.
On a flight of four hours or more, it becomes worthwhile to spend the extra money for better amenities.

Are peanuts, a glass of Coke, a $2 headset, 2 hours of programming chosen by the airline, and being able to sit on leather seats worth $115 to you? All airplanes have reclining seats and window shades, and the legroom is probably exactly the same. You might get an extra 3 inches on one vs the other.

totally depends where u are goin also word is that jet blue has xm radio and direct tv right on the planes
my dad and i are gonna take a flight from Raleigh-Durham to New York's Kennedy because it is cool like that and we want to see how they fly personally i would go with jetblue they seem to be expanding very fast and have good service

The $85 dollar option as then I would have more money to spend when I arrived where ever I was going.

I agree with answerer number one. But still, 200 and 85 dollars? where are you flying? next door? or are those the economy stuff. i dunno cause i fly first class always.
