well...you express to them why you believe you got poor service. List any names of workers who did or did not help you meet a resolution. Tell them tactfully that you would like the situation to be resolved and ask how they would plan on doing that.

BTW if your service stank...why would you want to fly with them again?

Honestly you wont get a free ticket. The most you will get is MAYBE a $100 travel voucher. It depends on what the service failure in your opinion was. IF you get anything back you may just get a form letter and a voucher for $25, $50 or maybe $100 depending on what happened and what airline is in question. I worked in customer service and dealt with these letters daily, its up to the person who opens your letter what the response will be if there is any. Shoot me an e-mail and tell me what happened and I'll tell you what you might expect.

If it was really bad, send a copy to the DOT, they keep tabs on customer service related complaints.

You will not free tickets. I can guarantee you of this. You might get a voucher or frequent flyer miles, but you will definately not get a free ticket. I work for an airline. The best thing to do is tell them the truth. Remember, the airline would rather you email them to ensure a speedy response and results. Keep your boarding passes because they hold your ticket number, they will be helpful and they might be the number for the voucher if you get one. Don't bother trying to get a free ticket. They will NOT give you one.

stop complaining...why is it everyone always wants something for free????????????? I hate seeing people like you at the airport, those poor ticket agents have a very hard job to do, dealing with weather, nasty people and delays. Why must you make it harder???????????

Tell 'em the truth. Tell 'em how offended you are. Use big words.
