take some advil or tylenol. unfortunately, your teeth will be hurting often, especially after you get your braces tightened :-(

when you eat, opt for soft foods (oatmeal, soups, baby food - yes baby food).

use the wax if the brackets start rubbing on the inside of your cheeks.

good luck! you'll be VERY happy with your teeth when the process is over with...be sure to use your retainer (when you get your braces of) RELIGIOUSLY!!!

You can take a small dose of Tylenol.
Ice your jaws with an ice pack.
Eat really soft foods such as pudding and ice cream.
It will go away in a few days..
you'll get this every time they are tightened.
