this is only my opinion, so take it for what it's worth to you OK.
I believe God gave man a brain, if is can heal others with his knowledge than I think it's OK to go to the DR. AS far as meds. I know what you mean about meds can make you gain weight, it happened to me. one med may work on one person-and not the other, Dr's. don't have all the answers, that's why most specialize in one area. so you don't give up you find the one that works for you. our faith and what you believe in is the only answer to that question, personally, Yes I feel God can heal. If he doesn't when you ask, well I feel he has a reason and it is his decision on rather he heals you are not . He has his own reason's we are not to understand them. like i said aerier, this is only what i believe for myself. yes I'm a christian and a regular go to church. I love the feeling i receive from the lord in church or not. this works for me. I do also feel your relationship with God is a personal one. God works in different ways for each of us. What may work for one, will be different for someone else, I apolize if i have totaly confused you. Bless you for asking.

By the tone of your question I believe that you mean Christian religion, though you didn't say. If that is the one you're asking about then Accept Christ if you have not already. Pray often and explore God's word. Seek advice from a pastor. Above all else, though, you should alsways seek profesional medical opinions. Yes, God can and does heal, but you should always see a doctor. If you have questions get a second opinion, but you should definately see a doctor. Even those who truly believe themselves healed should be examined. A true miracle will always withstand medical scrutiny, otherwise its not real.

If you talk to a Dr. that is a Christian he will probably tell you that the knowledge he has received while practacing medicine is God given. I also believe that God has given the knowledge to man in order to heal eachother and He also still uses the works of the spirit to heal. Paul tells us that "to some (refering to the members of the church) are given the gifts of healing" (1Cor 12:9). In the book of Isaiah Chpter 53 verse 5 it talks about the sin-bearing servent which refers to Christ and tells os that by His stripes we are healed. If you go through the Gospels it talks of all the healings that Christ performed and in turn in the book of Acts, all of the healings that the apostals performed by The Holy Spirit. Whether by miracal or by giving man knowledge of how to heal, God is responsible.

As far as you being confused on how to live, well many people will debate this. The 10 comandmaents are exactly that, COMMANDMENTS. However God knew that no one could go through life without breaking at least 1 of them. And as the word tells us, if you have broken 1 then you have broken them all. Now through Gods grace and mercy our transgressions against the Law of God has been wiped out with the birth, death, and ressurection of Christ. But there are still things you have to do in order to receive what God has waiting for you.

1. You must profess that Jesus is the Christ and truley beleive in your heartthat He was born, crucified, died, resurrected, and assended to the right hand of God. Jesus said that if you profess Him before man, then he will profess you before our Father in Heaven. This is being "Born Again"

2. You must repent of your sins, which means you don't do any of the things that God has said that we aren't suppose to be doing, like living and sleeping with someone that we are not married to. Going out and getting plastered. etc...

3. You must be water baptized once you come to Christ. if you were sprinkled with water when you were a baby, it doesn't count. You must do This for this is what Christ Commanded.

4. Live as Jesus taught, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the Greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:38 &39)

As you can see we are to live for God, if you do so then you are already healed by God whether through mirical or by a doctor, it is still God.

Hope this helped ;)

though God can heal you without medicine and pills he wont always do that. It is a gift from God that the doctors know what's wrong with you and perscribe you the correct medicine to fix it. So it's not like the doctor is completely healing you though somewhat he is, but he is healing you with the knowledge God gave him.

Yes God can heal and I don't see anything wrong with going to doctors.

I don't want to force anything on you...but please pray that God will show you the way to Him and His will for you. I also pray, in Jesus name....that He help you with your questions, and touch you with His healing.
