In the US it isn't required to have a bachelor's degree but it is really difficult to get in without one. The major doens't matter so much as long as you have all the pre-reqs completed and do well on the entrance exams. In fact, some schools actually prefer that you have a non-science degree. It is really dependent on the school you plan to attend.

most people go for some form of biology. personally, I major in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. This is a good choice because there are jobs you can still do on the off chance that you don't get into med school. Another big one is Integrated Physiology, which focuses on animal biology almost exclusively. Other ones to consider are psychology, biochemistry (really hard but will prepare you well), and chemistry. As long as you take the classes you need to get in, you can take any major.
so remember to have 1 semester calculus, 1 year general biology, 1 year organic chemistry, 1 year biochemistry, 1 semester english, and I wish you luck!

You need a Bachelors degree heavy in science with good grades. It can be a BA. Medical schools accept majors from engineering to arts and science, including nutrition, child development, human ecology, life science, chemisry, physics and etc.Be sure to do some community service in a medical type field as they are also looking for dedication to the field.

Technically "no", but practically, "yes." There are about 8 to 12 prerequisites (varies by school) you have to take before admission to med school. If you can knock those out, then any 4 year degree is good enough, but most people find it hard to do without being in a pre-med program

you need a bachelors, but not in science. you must have your premed requirements in though. each college/university will have a premed office or guidance dept personnel who will be able to help you in determining what you need and how to plan your classes. you don't necessarily want something close to medicine for your major. choose something that interests you. Med schools get tons of applications from people with bio, chem and similar majors. They want something original.
