Ya know, The Lord, my God, told Moses when he handed down The 10 Commandments, "Thall shalt not have no other god before me, for I am a jealous God. . . Those who do wrong by me I shall curse them for 3 and 4 generations, but those who do right by Me, I shall bless by the thousands" Also, The Lord sent his "Only begotten son, so that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" and also, The Lord does not force us to believe in him, he has many angels like that, He put us here to make the choice between good and evil. There is only one unpardonable sin that is said many times throughout The Bible, and it is "blasphemes against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven" I could go on and on, but that would be redundant. Read The Bible, and accept Christ like a child, meaning, don't read into it too much, just read it and take it for what it is. Do not doubt Him, just read and accept it, and you will be changed and loved...
aussiechic: God created man from dust and woman from man's rib. The Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their homosexual tendencies. We were not meant to have sex with the same sex. This is something that Satan came up with in order to try to "get back", if you will, at the Lord. All the answers you need are in The Bible, if you really want the truth, you would read it, and see what I'm talking about.

My God is full of love. God does love the sinner and it hurts him to watch people sin but if you deny him or don't pick up your cross and follow him then you cannot rejoice in the kingdom of God. God doesn't want anyone to burn in hell but if they chose not to follow him than they choose that destiny for themselves and God will not make them choose Him. I'm not real sure what the sign would be for the love of the ultimate sinner after his death but before his death would be him dying on the cross and giving people the OPTION of following Him.

Suffering in hell for eternity is not something that God purposed. This is a false teaching. God doesn't necessarily "love" sinners who aren't repentant. He loves them, just not what they do. But if they were ever to turn around and repent from their sins and genuinely try to please God and do right, God would readily accept them back with open arms. They have to choose God and he will take them back. God is always there. We choose to stay by him or leave him, but he's always there.

Does a mother that puts her child in timeout not love them? Of course not, she is lovingly punishing her child. God loves us absolutely. I have to wonder why people focus on this attribute and ignore the others. God is just. When you commit a crime and go to court to talk to the judge, can he ignore the fact that you committed a crime? No, he can't, he has to be just. This doesn't mean the judge doesn't love you, it just means that he is being just, good and righteous, all of which are said about God. So the next time you complain because you can't enjoy a sinful, self-serving life AND eternity in perfection, think again because God does not forget your sins.

First God is Love. Completely.
God loves the sinner to allow us freewill. God did not want a slave because that type of relationship is not true love but involves total power.
God knew he was overpowering, so he allowed freewill in order to provide a true and total loving relationship.
God does not send people to hell. These people choose hell and reject God's Love totally.
God Mercy (ie forgiveness, love, redemption) is unlimited. God only ask for your active "Yes" to His love. Mary His mother gives us an excellent example of a loving response to His invitation to Love Him.

Do you live in the USA? Do you even comprehend the concept of freedom and free will? If you have been inculcated with a doctrine that teaches you that YOU must act a certain way or do a certain thing in order to "achieve" love, then this is going to be very difficult for you to understand.
God's love to you and me is a free gift. But the receiver of a gift doesn't own it until he reaches out his hands and takes it. Otherwise, it is still in the hands of the giver.
That is pure love.

(Romans 6:7) 7Â For he who has died has been acquitted from [his] sin.
and god does'nt make people suffer for eternity. (Psalm 37:10) 10Â And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. not torture.
as a matter of fact here is how he speaks of those who do.(Jeremiah 7:31) 31 And they have built the high places of To´pheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hin´nom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, a thing that I had not commanded and that had not come up into my heart.’

Ask yourself this, (if your parents were good parents) did your parents discipline you? If they did, it was because they love you and they want to teach you that what you did was wrong. God warns us from the beginning that you are either a follower of Christ of an enemy of God, and you will go to hell for your actions. God gives us the choice to do right and wrong. He loves all of us and wants us to make the right choices, but if you don't, then its like your parents say, this hurt me more than it will hurt you. Sure physically you are in pain if they spank you or use a belt, but for a parent to have to see their child in pain and knowing they have to do it, hurts them, but they know they must do the right thing and teach them to do right. That is called tough love. He gives us all of our lives to accept Him, and to love Him. So what are you going to do? And, the comment, God loves the sinner but hates the sin is a 100% good statement. You have your believes, Christians as myself, have ours. Where we end up in the end is up to ourselves, so live life at what you think is the fullest, because you only get one, and always think about what you are doing so you don't make mistakes and have to regret anything.

God does not love every sinner only those cleansed in the blood of Christ. He is a God of Love and He Loves justice. He does not love the wicked.

No, He is not a hypocrite. As a matter of fact, God absolutely refuses to tolerate hypocrisy, and He loved us so much that He made a way for us to come to him, since he couldn't come to us. He is unwilling and unable to accept anything less than holy, which is why He gave his son to atone for all of our sins at once - the only holy, perfect human being. Before that, the Jews practiced blood sacrifice in attempts to atone for their sins.
