I admit I struggle with the same battle as the invasion of illegals temps me to take a racial side but that would be destructive to the American stregnth. Division of this country would bring it to it's knees! That's why so many empires have fallen to diversity! You have to be Americans united! Look at little china, or east LA or the backwoods of the southern states! DIVIDED! Seen the movie Gangs Of New York? Human nature with cultures.....CLOSE THE BORDER!

ABSOLUTELY!
As there is nothing real, true or substantial behind the pro-criminal, pro illegal thought pattern.
So rhetoric, deception and outright lies are brought out and paraded around as if they were really something to worry about.
Racism is just the latest in a long line of false propaganda.
First the lies about our economy would collaps without them.
Study after study has shown that this is not true and the only ones who benefit from cheaper labor are the business owners who employ the illegals, not the consumer!
Second is the "they are good people looking for a better life" arguement
Also blown away by the truth!
Illegals are 8 times more likely to commit violent crimes than any other
identifiable group!
Illegal immigrants apply for public benefits at 3 times the rate of any other identifiable group!
The normal, average illegal immigrant is latino (90+% Mexican), single, male 17-35 yrs of age. The very group that is MOST employable in Mexico!
the average illegal commits over 8 crimes, just to get the "job no one else wants"
1. illegally crossing
2. illegally obtaining work
3. tax evasion
4. use of false, forged or stolen documents
5. us of false names
6. driving without a license
7. fraudulently using medical services without the intention of paying (why else do they give fake addresses and names for?)
8. Assisting others to be illegals
The lie about taking jobs no one lse wants
Every job classification that is the 'typical' job for illegals, is an area of our economy that is primarily filled by legal aliens and citizens. Again proven beyond all doubt.
So now the term RACIST is being trotted out, because the democrats get great milage from it and it usually cows the republicans.
Funny though, if one looks at the equal rights movement, it was the democrats that overwhelmingly voted AGAINST it and the republicans pushed it through! More truth thay won't tell you!
Is it working? Not on me, but that is because I have bothered to actually use the brain that God gave me!

gangs of new york movie was crap. the racism that many people are showing and the dramatic increase in hate crimes against Latinos both legal and illegal by neo-nazi and skinhead christian white supremacist groups is turning everybody against the anti illegal supporters and causing more and more people to side with the illegals. I actually believe that has a lot to do with it, but, that's not totally the reason. I know that for Latin Americans, it is sometimes hard to see what happens to illegals just because they are of the same race. I am in no way saying that it is a legitimate reason. But I know that it has a lot to do with it. I personally have a big heart and hate to see anyone suffer for any reason.

I don't believe Latino Americans side with illegals. It only seems that way when the survey includes a number of illegals.

You've probably heard about the Mara Salvatrucha gang. When the El Salvadorians moved in, they competed with the Mexican illegals. Because they were new and not established, they were victimized by the Mexican gangs.

partially. Also they may realize that they Mexican counterparts are not given the same rights as they are only for being born here. That is not fair. Pluse they may have family members in those countries that they cannot see, because of our laws.

Yes!!!! I think that has a LOT to do with it!!!!!! The LEGAL mexicans don't want to feel disloyal to their race of people, but they don't seem to REALIZE, the ILLEGALS are hurting them and their familys TOO!!!!!

Dunno. I understand that 47% of Latino voters in Arizona voted in favor of Proposition 200 that took away benefits from illegal aliens.
