well, he starts questioning you when you are around other guys. Get jealous very easily, and trys to control you.

Jealousy, it usally a sure sign he is. If he gets all over you, when you talk to some one else, more likely when it's a guy. Then he's insecure.
See how he reacts to other people, is he forthright, friendly, open to them, or does he stand back, and let you do all the talking.
Watch him in different situation, the signs are easy to spot. when you look for them.

does he try to make you happy? If yes then hes insecure

Jelously; always looking at you for you certain reactions when you he ask you things; always calling you 3x day or more to ask where you are; always accuses you of cheating or looking at another man.

if he is always asking: whats wrong? are you okay? stuff like that then he is definitely insecure
