Yes, because it's a small way to find a bit of comradery in a world where we otherwise might not see so many others of our "kind."

I can only speak for myself ..the last few times I was marched through a crowd in a dunce cap .. pelted with vegetables, spit and excrement ... after tortures had wracked my body to finally give a false profession .. the words of "witch, devil, heretic!" repeated tauntingly from the jeering crowds, who had gathered for the regular circus like festivities ... As the flames began to lick and tear at my body ...
It was then that I vowed to myself .. the next time I return, I will learn their damned book better than them for my own ends .. And if reincarnation has any validity .. they were kindling 600,000 like me every year in the Inquisition's peek years .. hmm 1292 first edict .. and the last burnings and hangings were in the 1600's ...

just kidding jim...lol.. I don't believe in that reincarnatory silliness .... do I?

Non-Christians get non-christian questions 'cause we think outside the square and question things rather than excepting what is preached.

Mostly because Christians can't adopt, even for a second, another person's world-view. It's rather second-grade of them to do so, I might add.

well..
let's see.

Maybe some non-christians don't know anything about christianity, so can't relate the question to them as well?

plausable, I guess.

Maybe Christians should learn more about other beliefs.

Well, I don't know about that...

I got a complete failure from fellow non-Christians to get where I was coming from on this one, just now... :-)
