Has it become cool to insult people, even strangers? How do you know they wont be so gravely offended, they won't try to cap you? Before you and your friends finish laughing?

its an intimidation thing.. they feel that if they put people down before the other does it to them then they are the dominant one... its the same thing as a cat fluffing out all its fur ....and yes one day someone better than them will just dump a whole lot of pain on them.....

Girls do it too don't be so down on the males of the world. If boys act like complete jerks blame the parents.

Television and other media has glamorized rudeness. Plus adults do not generally speak out to correct them, due to fear of being told to "mind your own business" or worse.
