Thanks to the National Minium Drinking Age Act of 1984 the minium age for drinking for all states is 21.

It used to be 18, but the Feds started to withhold money from the States for highways unless the individual states changed their rules. Eventually, all states switched over. This started in the 80s and finished in the 90s. I believe Louisiana was the last state to switch (or one of the last), due to the drinking revenue they get in New Orleans.

It is 21 throughout all 50 states. It used to vary, but, during the Reagan Administration, he threatened to cut off federal highway funds to states that didn't raise their drinking age to 21.
