I personally think that yes, we are, and I am absolutely convinced the rapture will take place and I for one plan on going!

The Word of God says in 1 Thes. 17,18 'We which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord'

Yes it most definitley is upon us. Jesus words are coming true more and more every day. Sticking close to our fellow believers of truth is more important than ever. Finding an accurate knowldge of truth is extremely important because we need to be serving God in a way that in acceptable to him. The scriptures give all sorts of answers as to what we should be watching on TV to what we should be doing to worship him. Finding these truths are more important than ever because you're right, the end of this wicked system is near.

Well, things sure do seem to look like we're near the end times. On the other hand, people have thought we were near the end times for over 2,000 years.

For those who say the rapture isn't mentioned in scripture, it's not specifically called the "rapture" but it is described...

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 NIV
(51) Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed--
(52) in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

Matthew 24:40-41 NIV
(40) Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
(41) Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

I don't believe in a "rapture," but I do believe we COULD be entering the 70th week mentioned in Daniel very soon. The biggest problem with the rapture theory is that people are going to neglect making preparations to survive the Great Tribulation because they think they'll be gone. I for one am planning for shelter, food, clothing, etc.

I hope it will be soon. Jesus will return as he said he would, and the sooner the better. He says though that no one knows the time of his return, only the Father. But he also told us to be ready and he told us what to do too. He said to love God and love our neighbor. We're supposed to be ready when he comes.

There is no word 'rapture' in the Bible. The Bible is interpreted in just about as many ways as there are people who read it.

Its a mystery, but its a sure thing.

I believe the end of times is a much different concept than measured by us. I believe right now we need to fight against evil (especially when it masquerades as good) and we need to be especially vigilant.

My friend the rapthure doesn't exist it was invented by a protestant preacher in late 19th century.

The end times maybe....the rapture... NO! It doesn't exist.

No such reference in the Bible. There is no "rapture" noted in the Scriptures.
