I think it would be really neat if I could bite into a boiled egg once in a while and get an even bite of yolk and white.

No, I'm not a fox, though foxes do love eggs. Except foxes with boxes, those are just horny and want nothing to do with eggs.

Eggs are shaped like they are for strength. Sqeeze an egg one way and it shatters, well, like an egg. But another way and it's very hard to crush.
They would be shaped the same in zero G; it's shape isn't effected by gravity (it's genetically that shape).
