What impact does the dolphin have on its ecosystem? If the dolphin would become extinct what effect would that have on its ecosystem?

Specifically? I'm thinking most likely it would affect what the dolphin ate. Without the dolphin to keep the population under control, it's prey would become over abundant, creating environmental discord.

You have to remember...as animals become extinct...we are closer to that too.

After all...we are animals.
