yes and no, like all things. christianity certainly provides answers to things like creation, that when taken literally, do tend to provide just cause for individual followers, in a like minded group setting (typically very rural), to suspend and thereby retard their quest for answers to (diffficult) questions that deserve more than superstitious regurgitation. a process of rigorous questioning and scrutiny and peer review tend over time to be closer to true. in my view christianity is a window into intellectual laziness.
