I've tried oragel, teething rings, dill pickels, just about everything! Any new ideas?

Frozen bananas inside of Munchkin Fresh Food Feeders (to prevent choking). You can put ice inside of these as well.

Works great and it's safe... without medication. ♥

You may also look into getting Fun Ice Teether Babies. It's a cuddly rattle toy, but it’s also a teether that can go in the freezer and washing machine.

*edit* By the way, here's links about these items, you can put your zipcode into these links and it will show you where you can purchase them:

If he's really fussy and its been going on too long are you sure its just teething? Kids can't tell you whats wrong so he could be teething and have an ear infection or something. Maybe if its too severe or its been going on a while a trip to the dr would be in order, better safe than sorry! Have you given him baby tylenol? Some teeth are worse than others and can make them sick in other ways like fevers or upset stomachs. Breaks your heart when you can't fix it for them doesn't it?

Freeze a wet wash cloth and let him chew on it, keep 5 or 6 in the freeze so you can switch them out

If you are RIGHT there and making sure it doesn't thaw out to much (so it doesn't break off) a frozen banana, but do not let it thaw...it's a choking risk.

My daughter however chose as her favorite teething toy...my leather key holder a big circle of leather...go figure :)

that's the place you get to be the discern. provide up letting him sleep with you and supply up nursing. era. With the nursing, that doesn't propose you end cuddling and protecting him. It purely ability you provide him a bottle/sippy cup, and redirect him to it once you're protecting him and he tries to nurse. yet he has found out that if he cries adequate, you will come rescue him at night. you ought to end that. positioned him in mattress and walk away. close the door. and don't are available in. do no longer advantages his crying with letting him lower back in mattress with you. which will in basic terms make it worse, and drag the subject out. you're in for a coarse couple of weeks. Welcome to parenthood. that's no longer user-friendly. And that's the place you get to pay for a year and a one million/2 of listening to the incorrect human beings. Sorry, that's purely how that's. he is going to howl for some nights, yet you ought to be the grownup, and enable him recover from it. no longer flow working in each and every few minute to confirm he's effective. in any different case he won't in any respect end, and you will under no circumstances get to sleep, nor get your boobs lower back.

Children's tylenol and a washcloth with ice in it. It is a hard thing to go through. Tie the washcloth with a rubberband to keep ice inside. Good luck.

I've seen teething rings in the store with liquid in them. You pop them in the freezer and that soothes the baby's gums. I've seen it work.

Check with your doctor first, but don't be afraid to use tylenol or children's motrin. They are both safe if used properly and there's no reason to let your son suffer.

Also frozen wash clothes (wet them first) work very well.

You can put a clean wet washcloth in the freezer until froze and let your baby chew on it. I work in Pediatrics and that is one thing we suggest to parents.
