I know, I ask myself the same question all the time! It's the likes of all the super skinny models and film stars that give normal women extreme pressure to be 'out of this world sexy'.
I think the best thing, at least for my is to learn to accept who you are and to remember it's the people around us that matter and if they love us for us, then we are sorted.
Those women in magazines are not all that pretty when they wake up in the morning, they have make-up artists and personal trainers!

Ten Things I Find Pretty in the Girls in my life have been:
1. Like magicians always having an answer to my question that I never would have imagined. I guess that means: girls who know how to surprise me.
2. Knows how to paint her toes and knows better not to go to a manicurist because those places are dirty and unsanitary; which lead to
3. She is clean and well groomed.
4. She smiles only when my eyes meet her eyes.
5. Light make up on face.
6. Stylish dresser (wears cute shoes, clothes always neat and well ironed and unwrinkled)
7. Is smart.
8. Is a good listener without being too passive.
9. A soft voice and does not swear.
10. Wears nice perfume that can barely be smelled and does not smell milky or chalky but more citrusy though not sweet.

Truthfully, her personality makes her pretty. Looks aside in conceited girls who know they are hot their ugliness of character dominates in the end, where girl who are average looking appear beautiful if their personality shines through. Those are my thoughts atleast. Some other shallow soul may say 'make up and high heels'. Everyone is beautiful so long as they are nothing more and nothing less than 'themself'.

Honestly I believe what makes a girl pretty is her personality. She may be the hottest girl in the town, but be such a b**ch underneath. If the girl is beautiful inside then she is beautiful on the outside.

pretty has to do with the looks of someone, beauty has to do with the inside of a person. and i think people that are beautiful inside and out are awsome have you ever noticed that there are people that dont know they are good looking on the outside because they are such a pleasant person to be around, and they think of others before themselves and they act accordingly.
