i think most people take the answers they get on here as advice. i have asked some medical questions to find a variety of answers I can research more by myself.i would never completely trust anything, it would only give me insight or a push to go to the doctor

Anyone with any wit would do a bit of proper research using proper acclaimed medical sites. Yes it is dangerous but only if the person asking the question is idiotic enough to believe strangers on here.

Just a little which is why people also seem to take the time to post cautions to get to the doctors. But isn't it a bit daft that people seek the non-expert opinions of people on here in the first instance?

I answer the questions I can depending on my knowledge..but yes some of the answers beggar belief..... Mind you is it not the person who asks the question who is at fault, some people really need Doctors advice and not answers from here

it probably is, people could claim to be a doctor or pharmacist when they are in fact a sheet welder.
I work in a pharmacy so give lots of advice in work, but I wouldnt answer anything on here I wasnt sure of.
sometimes I think people just want a sympathetic ear maybe?

I fear for the young persons on here they might take the wrong advice, myself I understand and take it all with a grain of salt, most people are really trying to help, I wish they would divide yahoo answears up in age groups.

Yeah, if you need medical advice, I suggest you don't use Yahoo Answers.
"Thnx 4 the points" doesn't really help if you have a rash or something.

I had an English instructor that asked one extra credit question and mentioned who ever brings her the respond over the weekend get the criteria. So natuarally over the weekend I asked the question in this internet site and that i won an answer. So come Monday morning I instructed my instructor the respond and he or she mentioned she observed my question in this internet site over the weekend. for particular I deleted that account so she could no longer stick to it.
